Specialty coffee made convenient

Essence in a Cup brings our freshly roasted coffee to a convenient single-serve format. We grind and hand-pack each E-Cup for brewing directly into a 10-ounce mug.

These are not generic coffee pods carrying the Essence of Coffee name. They contain coffee selected and roasted by our team in Rapid City, using the same care and attention we give to our whole-bean coffees.

Choose from four coffees:

• Genesis — our signature blend, full bodied with notes of chocolate, nuts and caramel.
• Guatemala — a single-origin coffee with its own distinctive regional character.
• Outback — a full-bodied blend with cocoa and tangy fruit notes.
• Decaf — carefully selected and roasted for those who want the coffee without the caffeine.

Our approach to roasting was developed through professional training and years of practical experience beginning in Perth, Western Australia. Today, Michael remains directly involved in selecting, roasting and evaluating the coffees we produce in Rapid City.

We work with specialist coffee buyers and importers who source with farms and cooperatives. The coffees we purchase are traceable to a farm or cooperative, helping us understand where they came from and how they were produced.

Essence in a Cup is for the times when convenience matters but the character of the coffee still matters too—at home, at work or wherever your day takes you.
